CLIMBING END OF UNIT REFLECTION  Complete a one page evaluation, reflecting on your participation and the progress you made during the Climbing unit. Answer these questions in your evaluation.

  1. What did you enjoy the most about the climbing unit?
  2. What did you find difficult/challenging and why?
  3. How did you try to overcome these difficulties/challenges?
  4. How did you improve over the unit?
  5. What would your goal be for the next time you do climbing?

Please print out and hand in your reflection attached to your tracking sheet. Alternatively you may write on the back of your tracking sheet.

You will be evaluated on your ability to evaluate and explain your performance using M.PE2.7 Identify strengths and weaknesses in your own performance.

  • 3 points of contact
  • Frog stance
  • Crab walk
  • Push with your legs
  • Keep your upper body close to the wall

You will be recording and evaluating on your progress using a tracking sheet. After each climb you do you need to write it down and reflect on it. The next climb how can you challenge yourself? There are a number of ways to do this; try a more challenging wall, time yourself to do the same wall faster, climb blindfolded! Every climb you should be doing something different!
